Judgment:

: The basic facts of this case were that a series of private letters were exchanged between a Mother and son. These were sought to be printed and published but the Mother prevented. The Court where people have written private letters to each other than an injunction can be sought to prevent these from being published, ‘the Plaintiff (Mrs. Gee) had sufficient property in the original letters to authorise an injunction, unless she has by some act deprived herself of it... The question will be, whether the bill has stated facts of which the Court can take notice, as a case of civil property, which it is bound to protect’, Eldron LC
